The acute-care facility provides inpatient and outpatient medical services, including 24-hour emergency care. It is designated as a "critical-access facility" by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) program for hospitals in rural communities.

The hospital was established in 1949 and joined the Franciscan Health System in 2007.

In fiscal year 2008 (July 2007-June 2008), Enumclaw Regional Hospital admitted 1,130 patients; responded to 12,123 patient visits to its Emergency Department; and received 20,661 outpatient visits.

Replacement

Enumclaw Regional Hospital will be replaced by St. Elizabeth Hospital in February 2011.[1] The space will eventually be turned into patient and visitor parking.[2]
